Stephens Pelham Slow Twist Snaffle, Copper

Handmade for polo, the Stephens Pelham Slow Twist Snaffle has a single-jointed copper mouthpiece with a slow twist for a more definite feel than a smooth snaffle. This can be useful for horses that tend to lean or become strong. Copper is often chosen for its warmer feel and may encourage the horse to mouth the bit.

The Pelham cheeks allow the bit to be used with two reins or Pelham roundings, combining direct rein and curb action.
