Stephens Pelham Ported, Copper

The Stephens Ported Pelham is a copper polo bit designed to provide tongue room alongside additional control. The central port reduces constant pressure on the centre of the tongue and transfers more of the action across the bars. Copper can encourage salivation and acceptance, while the traditional Pelham cheeks combine snaffle and curb action for additional leverage when required.
