The “lock up” mechanism prevents the bit from folding backwards, this eliminates the squeeze of the lower jaw and spreads pressure evenly, while still allowing for independent rein aids. Available in most Cheekpieces BOMBER RECOMMENDS This mouthpiece for horses that are sensitive with a tendency towards a high head carriage, as it will apply some tongue pressure and no squeeze on the bars.
