About Equine Management Ltd

Equine Management Ltd was founded by Stephen Biddlecombe in 1999, after he returned to the UK following 20 years living abroad and working within international equestrian sport. That experience and practical understanding of horses remain at the heart of the business today.

From the beginning, the aim has been simple: to develop and supply well-made, reliable equestrian products at sensible prices. Careful product research and quality control have helped Equine Management Ltd build a wide-ranging collection for horse and rider, now supplied to retailers throughout the UK, Europe and further afield.

Equine Management Ltd developed the Stephens range of leatherwork and equestrian accessories. Our Stephens leatherwork is handmade in Walsall using quality English leather, combining traditional British craftsmanship with practical designs made for everyday use. The Stephens Sheepskin range is produced in Europe using Australian wool, allowing us to maintain the quality and comfort for which the range is known.

We also created and developed Gel-Eze, The first stable-form gel products introduced to the equestrian market. Designed to help absorb impact, distribute pressure and reduce slipping, Gel-Eze has been trusted by riders for more than 20 years and remains an important part of our range. The company continues to lead the field in equestrian gel technology accessories to this day.

Alongside our own products, we work closely with a number of respected international manufacturers. Equine Management Ltd is the exclusive UK distributor for Cowboy Magic, Mane ‘n Tail, Exhibitor Labs, Bombers Bits and Weaver Leather. We also supply selected products from Absorbine, Flair, Jacks Manufacturing and other established equestrian brands.

As a small, experienced team, we take pride in offering knowledgeable, personal service. Our relationships with manufacturers and retailers have been built over many years, and we are always happy to discuss individual requirements, answer product questions and help customers choose the right products for their business.
